- Details: Actifest! is sponsored by the “Justice League of the U of M”, a coalition of representatives from over a dozen student groups. The overarching theme is that activists are superheroes (hence the Comic Sans. My apologies).

- Dr. Hezlep gave me a copy of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare for my fourteenth birthday. I based the design of his web site off the page layout of an illustrated Complete Works that I purchased a few years later. The scripted letters are the font “Silvus”.

- Details: I designed the logo and business card for this clinic as well. The logo design was one of my first times working with vector graphics. I believe I used a combination of Macromedia Fireworks and Photoshop elements.

- Details: I was a cashier/barrista/sandwich maker at HB&CC in the summer of 2005. When the boss learned that I knew how to make web sites, he asked me to do his. Unfortunately, this site was never used. My favorite part is the repeating coffee bean background.

- A simple yet professional-looking home page for an animal rescue and adoption agency run by Allysse Henry.

- Details: PetFinder lets pet owners and centers have simple websites to describe themselves and what they do. My friend did not have much web design experience and asked me to rework her site.
- Amnesty International * Fair Trade Coffee House
- The Mounds Park Academy chapter of Amnesty International held an art and music show in the spring following a week of small awareness-building events.

- Details: I was a member of this student group during the 04-05 school year. During the week we posted all of the articles of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and encouraged students to write letters in support of international political prisoners.
- Mosaic - 2nd Annual Cultural Fair
- Mosaic was a multicultural student group at Mounds Park Academy. Their annual cultural fair let the students share their cultures.

- Details: I was a member of this student group during the 04-05 school year. I did a lot of design work for the cultural fair: flyers, handbills, volunteer forms, and the “Peace Passport” in addition to the web site. The American flag-colored dove on the main page is actually an animated .gif that shows the flags of different countries and the word “peace” in their respective languages.
